As a ferocious combat Veteran who experienced my first active service as an 18 year old in the vicious hand-to-hand fighting on Mount Tumbledown during the Falklands War. I served a further 14 years until 13 medical wounds and injuries that were deemed beyond surgical intervention. I served many more active service tasks both within the Regiment and by volunteering for many jobs. I never envisaged the day when I would join civvy street and when it arrived i was distraught. I was offered help by the government fuelled and funded group Combat Stress. I view them as a safety net but have never taken residence there. Instead I opted for the exact alternative therapy that Andy Moore is providing. I am still a chronic insomniac, but my mind is as peaceful as it was as a teenager lying in the park with not a care in the world. If you believe that Combat Stress is not for you or have tried it to ne great advantage, i would wager you that this form of alternative treatment will not only relieve you of stress but also the secondary stress that you wifw/husband and children are experiencing. And should it work it will deliver to you the domestic stability if the family life that you want, need and deserve.
